Marine in custody after shooting death at Camp Lejeune, officials say
A Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing a civilian on the base.

A Marine stationed at a Camp Lejeune base has been arrested after authorities say they shot and killed a person.
The II Marine Expeditionary Force says a Marine at Camp Lejeune has been taken into custody after the shooting of the civilian.
The II MEF says the shooting happened Saturday morning while the victim was on the base.
The Marine Corps says a weapon was recovered.
NCIS is investigating the shooting. This afternoon, they would not say whether the person killed was an employee, a visitor, or a dependant.
