Authorities said a man was shot in the leg. The man was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.

It's unclear if the shooting was a random incident.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said three members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and one CMPD police officer died in the shooting. He said five other law enforcement officers were injured.
