Man seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police are investigating after a man was injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating after a man was injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday night.

Authorities said officers responded to Raeford Road near Oak Forest Drive at about 8 p.m. and found the man on the side of the road.

The man, who was not identified, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

Authorities have not released any information about the suspect or vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash.
