Man killed in Thursday morning Durham shooting
A man was shot and killed Thursday morning in Durham.

Before 7 a.m., officers with the Durham Police Department responded to a deadly shooting in the 4500 block of Denfield Street.
Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as Laron Dante Allen, 40, of Durham.
Sky 5 flew over the scene. Police cars lined the street and a trailer was set up outside a home across from what appears to be a salvage yard.
A large portion of the road was closed off as police investigated.
This is an ongoing investigation and there are no suspects in custody at this time.
This appears to be an isolated incident.
