Man dead after Friday night shooting on Lee Street, Durham police investigate

Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Friday night on the 800 block of Lee Street.

Police responded to the shooting just before 7 p.m.

Officers found a man who had been shot.

He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects are currently in custody. This incident appears to be an isolated event.
