Man charged in Raleigh stabbing
Raleigh police have arrested a man after a person was stabbed Tuesday night on Six Forks Road.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a man after a person was stabbed Tuesday night on Six Forks Road.
There was a heavy police presence at three separate scenes.
Scene 1: Chick-fil-A on Six Forks Road
Scene 2: Intersection of Six Forks and Industrial Drive
Scene 3: Torchy's on Mercantile Drive
Justin Andrew Godfrey was arrested on Mercantile Drive. Police confiscated a knife from Godfrey.
Godfrey, 32, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Raleigh police confirmed that the stabbing happened less than half-a-mile away at the intersection of Six Forks Road and Industrial Drive.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
