Man charged in half sister's murder now charged with rape in 2015 cold case
Jahreese Jones, who was charged with his half-sister's murder in 2022, now faces several new charges, including first-degree rape in connection to an Aug. 2015 cold case, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

Per the WPD, Jahreese Jones has been charged with first-degree rape, armed robbery and first-degree kidnapping in relation to the 2015 case.
Jones is currently at Tabor Correctional Institution serving time for 2017 convictions of assault and a sex offense stemming from a 2015 case. WPD Detective Joshua Childress says the charges filed against Jones recently are not related to the case of which he has already been convicted.
