Man arrested for breaking into Raleigh church, faces multiple charges

A Raleigh man with multiple break-in convictions was arrested for accusations he damaged a church window and a fire extinguisher.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested a man for allegedly breaking into a church on Wednesday.

Wallace Eubanks, 38, of Raleigh, is charged with injury to personal property, breaking and entering at a place of worship and habitual breaking and entering.

Arrest records accuse Eubanks of breaking into Capital City Church of God at 1500 Hedingham Blvd. “with the intent to commit a larceny.”

The documents state Eubanks broke a window, doing more than $200 in damage. They also state Eubanks damaged a portable fire extinguisher.

Also, the documents state Eubanks has previously been convicted of at least four counts of felony breaking and entering.
