Man arrested after multiple break-ins in Vance County

Jason Ayscue is facing several charges after several break-ins between late Septebmer and mid-November, according to the Vance County Sheriff's Office.

Vance County deputies arrested a man accused of multiple break-ins in the fall.

Deputies arrested Jason Ayscue on Wednesday.

The Vance County Sheriff's Office said Ayscue committed several break-ins between Sept. 30, 2023, and Nov. 14, 2023, at In A Minute Shop at 1727 North Carolina 39 Highway South, Kerr Lake Bait and Tackle at 2989 Nutbush Road and Sunoco 2270 North Garnett St. in Henderson.

Ayscue, 43, is charged with:

  • Three counts of felony breaking and entering
  • Four counts of felony break coin/currency machine
  • Two counts of misdemeanor damage coin and currency machine

Authorities took Ayscue to the Vance County ail on a $35,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 1.
