Man arrested after high-speed police chase; homes hit by bullets in downtown Raleigh
A police chase ended with two people being arrested after homes in downtown Raleigh were hit by bullets Thursday night.
Posted — UpdatedRaleigh police were called to Camden Street at 9:52 p.m. and North Raleigh Boulevard at 10:02 p.m. in reference to shots being fired and bullets hitting homes. No one was injured.
Witnesses told police the shots were fired from a gray Dodge Ram truck. A truck matching that description was spotted in the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard 12:50 a.m.
When police tried to pull over the driver, he instead led them on chase for about 30 minutes, onto Interstate 440 toward Apex, then onto U.S. Highway 1 into Chatham County.
The truck eventually pulled over and stopped on the shoulder.
Harrison Mark Robinson was charged with felony flee/elude arrest, misdemeanor driving with a revoked license and misdemeanor speeding.
According to arrest warrants, Robinson was speeding 100 mph along Capital Boulevard, which is a 45 mph zone.
A juvenile who was in the truck with Robison was also taken into custody.
