Man and woman shot in Raleigh early Thursday morning

A man and a woman were both taken to the hospital after being shot in the 4400 block of Craftsman Drive.

Officials say both are expected to be okay.

Police data shows that over the past five years, there have been dozens of property crimes – mostly theft from a vehicle – reported along that block. Police have recorded 10 instances of simple assault, four instances of aggravated assault and six violations of the concealed carry law in the area over that period.
