Which Dogs are Good With Children?

Are weimeraner dogs good with children and other dogs?

A:  Weimeraners are typically very good with children and other dogs. 

Just like any breed of dog, with proper training, Weimeraners make a perfect family dog.  They are typically active dogs and like to chase a ball or go for a walk, but they also have a lazy side.  They are not known to be aggressive.  But they do need a good amount of exercise.

The most popular family dogs are Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Poodles and their crosses, Beagles, and Boxers.  (this is a very abbreviated list)

I would recommend training classes for any new dog to make sure to start on the right foot.  The rest of their life can be very rewarding.
