N.C. — Saturday's weather is going to be hot, sticky and humid -- with dew points in the 70s.

A cold front is moving through the Midwest right now and will eventually make its way toward the south and give us some cooler temperatures Sunday. But for right now -- it's hot and humid, with some clouds outside.

7-Day Forecast

If you were thinking about getting some yard work done, get it done early before it gets too hot. Temperatures are expected to pass 90 degrees today.

Sunday, it will still be sticky outside, even with the cold front.

Saturday and Sunday still have a chance of scattered thunderstorms, but not a very high chance.

Saturday could see some afternoon storms, but they will be more scattered than Friday's.

"We will wake up to some cloud cover on Saturday, but the bulk of the day is going to be nice and bright," Gardner said.

Sunday will be dry and, with dew points in the 40s and 50s, so that means it will be much less humid
