A Lee County man was arrested Dec. 22 on charges of soliciting a minor in Alabama.

Following a tip from a law enforcement agency in Alabama, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office searched the home of Tadd Andrew Parks in Broadway, North Carolina.

Parks, 40, was charged with solicitation of a child by computer to commit a sex act and first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was jailed under a $350,000 secured bond.

Investigators with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office believe Parks had engaged in sexual conduct with the minor.

Additionally, they accused him of creating pornographic images of the juvenile, saying he was still in possession of those images.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about Parks is encouraged to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Investigator Lt. Rosser at 919-775-5531.
