Jordan High School in Durham briefly on secure status for suspicious activity in area

Around 3 p.m., Durham police said the school was on secure status while officers investigate suspicious activity in the area. Around 3:45, the status was lifted.

Schools are generally put on secure status to keep students and staff within the building if suspicious activity is observed in the surrounding area.
