RALEIGH, N.C. — There is truly a holiday for just about anything! National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. That means you are encouraged to eat ice cream to start your day!

Here are some local events to help you celebrate this important holiday:

Andia's Homemade Ice Cream (Cary and Raleigh)

This award-winning ice cream shop has locations in Cary and Raleigh. They are celebrating on Saturday at all locations from 8 to 11 a.m. with a 1980s theme. People are encouraged to wear their favorites 80s attire or favorite pajamas. The menu will include doughnut sundaes, cereal and breakfast milkshakes, cold brew floats, ice cream eating contests and more.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams (Raleigh and Durham)

This ice cream shop has some big plans for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. At all of its locations, they will be celebrating from 9 a.m. until noon. with a special breakfast-themed menu, Banana French Toast Ice Cream, French Toast waffle cones and a special Banoffee L'Affogato featuring two scoops of Banana French Toast ice cream topped with cold brew.

Two Roosters Ice Cream (Raleigh and Durham)

This WRAL Voters' Choice Award winning ice cream shop is celebrating National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day from 9 a.m. to noon at all of their shops. The entire menu will be served plus these specialty flavors:

Leprechaun’s Delight - Featuring the leprechaun’s favorite cereal.
Wildberry Poptart- A strawberry-blueberry base with chunks of housemade shortbread and blue buttercream frosting
Caramel Latte - A vanilla coffee base with ripples of caramel sauce and whipped cream.
