FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The widow of a Fayetteville man shot to death is looking for answers Wednesday night.

Police found 32-year-old Jonathan Connell suffering from a gunshot wound on Jan. 11 on Taramack Drive. Connell died at the scene

His wife, Mikayla Connell said she knew something was wrong when her husband wasn't answering his phone that day, when he'd normally get home from work.

She said her husband had a call with a number she didn't recognize a short time before her death.

"I'm just mentally not strong enough right now. Even when I focus on that, I more so finding myself consumed," Mikayla Connell said. "I just want to know who did it."

Fayetteville police said the investigation is ongoing.
