ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — James Harrison says it's thanks to his daughter that he won a $200,000 lottery prize.

The Rocky Mount saw operator bought the Win It All scratch-off ticket at the Friendly Way gas station store on N. Raleigh Street in Rocky Mount after picking his daughter up from work. Harrison called his daughter his "good luck charm."

“It’s incredible," he said. "So many things had to line up for me to win. If I hadn’t taken my daughter to work that day, I never would have stopped when I did to get a ticket. It all clicked into place. If I had gotten my ticket even a little earlier, I never would have won. She’s definitely my good luck charm.”

Harrison claimed his prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $141,501, which he said he'll use to fix up his house and save for retirement.
