My fondest memories of the fair is when everyone had Friday out of school to go to the fair! My sisters and I were approx 10 yrs old, THE OLD WATER FALL...........was the home base. Mama and Daddy would start there, give us money and say meet back here at whatever time (you can't let your children go out by themselves these days) and we would eat, then go out again and meet back at waterfall. Also, when it was COLD for the fair. Fair and Football weather is suppose to be COLD.....And we ALWAYS bought fudge on the way out the gate coming home!
