OK, work is work. I think August makes people nuts - its like a whole month with a full moon.
Can you say what grade you are teaching? Are you ready for the lil' darlings? What is you favorite grade to teach?
My baby starts 8th grade. I am planning a 2 week beach trip so that we can spend some time together. I know from experience with my older child that it will not be much longer before she starts wanting to bond more with her peer group and less with me. Sigh..
