I'm a web editor at WRAL.com. Besides writing news stories for the web site, some of the projects I've worked on include Ask Anything: 10 Questions With Triangle Newsmakers, the Public Records section and the Ask Kelcey & Kelly education blog. Before working at WRAL.com, I was a reporter at The Herald-Sun in Durham and at The Frederick News-Post in Maryland. In college, I interned at NBC News in Washington. Fun fact about me: My husband proposed to me on The Today Show :)

It would be cool, for example, if you could get Barack Obama's and John McCain's North Carolina headquarters leader or head campaign manager or something like that each to do one before the election. Or Dole's and Hagan's, or the gubernatorial candidates'. You wouldn't necessarily need the candidates themselves, but someone who is paid to speak for the candidates and can answer SERIOUS questions about their stances on issues (and not give stock, fluffy answers to softball questions).
Just an idea. I'd read it.

Welcome to the group. I have a question about David Crabtree. Does he work ALL the time? I hear him early in the morning on 101.5 delivering the news. Then he is on WRAL TV news in the evening. Does he get a break? Not being critical, just wondering. He's one of my favorite anchors.

Squash (yellow and green), broccoli, onions, mushrooms, cilantro, almonds, cauliflower, green beans, new potatoes all sliced thinly
Coat LIGHTLY in olive oil
Spice (to taste, I like super spicy) cajon seasoning, salt, pepper and CELERY SEED
Bake until browned (about 30 min.)
It has carbs, protein and veggies and it tastes amazing. It's nice and light so its a great summer treat. Enjoy!
