How's your 4th going. I've been working my arz off. Yard work, woa, too hot. Thought I was going to pass out. Finished all that. Inside cooling off now. Next going to go out and take the grill apart, crank up the pressure washer and give it a good cleaning. Went to Lowes and got new ceramic brickets for it. What have you been doing? Have fun, be careful. It's time to start pickling my liver! Talk to you soon dear. Stay sweet. You never told me what the next thing was going to be! I'm dying.

I did my time as a medic, a public safety officer (police/firefigher/medic) and then went to the fire department. I was medically retired due to an on the job "career ending" injury. I have worked part time as a 9-1-1 telecommunicator during my years on the street, and I am currently the 9-1-1 supervisor for a small agency in Wake Co.
So I am one of the few that has been on both sides of the mike. Of course, it makes it so much nicer when one of the troops comes up to me and says "you don't know what it's like out there" :)
