When I married my husband at the very young age of 19, he was an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper and subject to be deployed ALOT,,,my dad's picture is in the dictionary beside redneck and his little princesses weren't allowed to handle guns,,grrrrrr
First thing hubby did was take me out and teach me to shoot. I was very afraid of the gun but he said one thing to me "someone is coming into our home and you are the only thing standing between them and our children,,what do you do?"
I learned to shoot and shoot well.
Now even hubby calls if he's going to be coming home unexpectedly...lol
The guys in the unit used to tease him that it was because I had a b/f,,he would tell them nope, it's because he wanted to live when he walked in the house, doesn't do to surprise a redhead
