Your words cannot hurt someone who does not value your opinion. Continuing to pay attention to a person who has long since dismissed you is an announcement to the world that she matters. While you might comfort yourself with the mistaken notion that coming up with nasty comments is clever, the concept of “sour grapes” is as transparent as it is familiar. Therefore, aiming insults in the general direction of your target and the people associated with her only serves to entertain them. Move on as they have already done. Life is so short; how about living it? (Talking about others doesn’t qualify as a meaningful hobby. Try something new, and you might be pleasantly surprised by how much more you enjoy it. Perhaps then you will be able to let go.) Good luck.
