I am a civil engineer currently working in water infrastructure and resources with a sordid past in the arts, education, and a few other things. I'm thinking of getting back in transportation/traffic engineering. I am a freethinker and don't believe in your god. That being said, I completely support your right to believe whatever you want. Don't force it on me, and I won't drag you to a reading of The God Delusion or On the Origin of Species. I have trouble respecting people who believe that the earth is 5000 years old, or people who believe that evolution doesn't exist, so forgive me in advance. There are plenty of things that science cannot yet explain. I also have trouble relating to people who are: sexist, racist, hypocritical, xenophobic, gullible, warmongering, selfish, greedy, and just plain mean. Ok, maybe I get the mean ones sometimes.
I've got a slew of kids, too, so I don't have time for BS.
Oh, and apparently I'm a sucker for a guy playing guitar and have an obsession with low-ambition musicians who never grew up.

favorite hobbies: music, mischief, and mayhem. and gardening. ok, sarcasm, too.
favorite tv shows: cable ones that i don't pick up with rabbit ears
