I don't think so Yukon; there is no dot com boom and IT boom for year 2000 work that drove the economy last time. Unless a big economic driver comes along, it is going to be a tough slog. I know the Feds can toss a lot of money around, but to really drive things you also need boatloads of private sector investment. Not sure that Alternative Energy is going to provide that boost, particularly with oil so far back down in price. Takes a lot of the incentives away.
