what in the world is going on ?
Published Oct. 5, 2008Today's world is being influenced on a regular basis by tragedy after tragedy, and hardships upon hardships. From devasating earthquakes to massive flooding, from a failing economy to a world held hostage by the oil industry...people today are living in a state of fear unlike any other time in history. And these events are happening on a back-to-back schedule, and some of these events are natural disasters that are taking with them a vast numbers of victims on a very large scale.
Last Thursday, I visited David Jeremiah at the RBC Center. He is a southern Baptist minister living in San Diego and came to Raleigh to preach about current events that are happening in today's timeframe. As a Christian scholar (through God) he was very successful in relating everything happening today back to the Bible and the predictions that are written within it.
As some of you may know, he has a weekly television ministry and a daily radio ministry. This morning, I tuned in to his program called Turning Points and listened to him speak about Islam and the history of Islam. I found it to be very informative in my understanding of this religion that is the core of Muslim belief. From a Biblical standpoint, I urge you to watch this this morning so you can understand where and what Islam comes from. I think every Christian can benefit with this knowledge at hand, especially in understanding terrorism and the reasons behind it. You can gain this knowledge today in one of two ways. It will be broadcasted this morning again on the TBN Network (Cary cable channel 191) from 9:30 - 10:00AM. Or you may watch it online by clicking HERE.
I hope you will take the time to see this program and increase you understanding of the Islam religion. As a Christian, it has helped me in the understanding of "What In The World Is Going On?"... which is also the title of a new book David Jeremiah has just released. Selling at bookstores for $22, you may get this book for a donation of any amount during the month of October by clicking onto the above link.

I saw him preach a sermon at Southeastern Seminary a couple of years ago. The topic was Luke 15, the prodigal son, it was very enlightening.

There are no peaceful muslums. There are muslums who do not actively engage in acts of terror, but they tacitly support the actions of those who do. And if they tell you otherwise, they are lying.
