things women expect you to know but aren't telling you....
Published Sep. 25, 2008I wrote this several weeks ago and posted it on my myspace page, but I thought it would be fun to bring it out here and see what the girls what to add and what confuses the boys. LOL
1) For crying out loud! HAVE SOME PERSONALITY!
2) LAUGH!
3) Make sure all conversations are balanced. Girls like me don't like carrying on conversations with themselves... especially when you're standing there like an idiot looking all enamored. It makes my stomach turn.
4) If you ask her whats wrong and she says "nothing" of course there's something wrong. VERY wrong!!! Just give her a hug, it will usually defuse the bomb.
5) Talk to her. Communication and friendship are key!
6) Involve her with your social activities.
7) If you play some sort of game, DO NOT LET HER WIN. She will think you're a wuss.
8) Be a gentleman, but don't be a doormat.
9) Invite her places, especially if its somewhere you know she won't want to go... if you twist her arm and get her to do something she doesn't want to do she'll probably have fun and respect you a whole lot more because you have cahoonas.
10) take pictures with her
11) Sneak up behind her when she's washing dishes, put your hands on her hips and kiss her gently on the nape of the neck.
12) If you hear someone talk about her you best stand up for her. After all, she is amazing!
14) Hold her hand whenever she'll let you.
15) If you're getting up to go to the kitchen to get a drink, OFFER to get her one. Common courtesy goes a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG way!
16) Pick up after yourself. She ain't your mama and she doesn't want to be.
17) Random text messages are great, invasive ways to show you care.
18) Be there when she needs you and not there when she tells you that she needs some space.
19) Remind her why you love her
20) Make sure she's a priority.
21) Don't lie or cheat. If you think you're going to out smart her and get away with it HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you're wrong. You'll never out smart her, so don't try.
(If any of you girls that are like me can think of more to go on the list, please feel free to comment. LOL)

Hey, wifeofaconcreteman, longtime, no talk.
The trick is not pick a woman who is emotionally high maintenance. Get one that's secure and able to make a living for herself. That way, she doesn't stay with you because she has to, which keeps the man on his toes.
"and if we're happy, well, YOU'LL be happy."
It's true that if mamma's not happy, nobody is happy. But having a grumpy snarling bear for a husband isn't either. Decide what is important enough to make an issue about.

Who cares. I mean really, you say "Talk to her. Communication and friendship are key!" and the wench doesn't communicate when you ask a point blank question? That's childish and if the sex is so-so, I'd drop her in a New York second.
This is a list for a self-absorbed insecure woman who needs constant reassurement, yet is not willing to do the same. It ain't all about you, sweetheart.
