pals vs friends
Published Sep. 6, 2008Sorry, I have become bored with the "friends" tag at golo. I feel like it is so watered down that is has become meaningless. Some consider their importance by how many "friends" they have. Where is the quality? I refer to people as buds, pals, dude, sister, bro, girly and much more. I'm not sure how a cyber contact can be a "friend". Am I just having a bad hair day?

I'm with Beth on this one. Don't analyze it. Pushing the button, or accepting a friend isn't some sort of contract.
It makes it easier to see what people you enjoy corresponding with are blogging about.
That's how I see it. :)

Maybe you shouldn't try to "analyze" the whole friend tag thing on GOLO. It is what it is, or isn't.
I've had people ask to be my friend, without even talking with them on here. I've also talked to many people on here, who I like, but we haven't hit the "friends button," and that's ok too!!
Life is too short and hell is too hot - to worry about that!
