Published Jul. 6, 2008More than 14,000 illegal immigrants have been deported from Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina in the past eight months, according to federal immigration officials.
Now THAT is what I call "a good start!".....

As an employer, I can tell you that sometimes you don't know a person is illegal until after you have filed their paperwork with the IRS and it comes back as "invalid social security number and drivers license number." By that time, the person you hired has gone off to find work elsewhere. Learned this through personal experience.
