terrorist disrupts 4th of july celebration

Festive Day of Celebration Ruined By Unconscionable Act of Terror
As people in the small, North Carolina town of Cary were enjoying a festive day of celebration of the 232nd birthday of the United States of America, the festivities were brought to an unexpected and early end by by the sounds of terrorist-brought thunder. Hundreds were forced to flee, including the NC Symphony Orchestra, to escape the attack.
Reached at the White House, President Bush had this to say of the sad event: "It is obvious that this attack on our nation's celebration of our freedom and liberty was premeditated and intentional. The use of Weapons of Mass Obstruction by Mother Nature leaves us no choice but to begin retaliatory measures immediately." The president also said, "We will not rest until every member of the leadership of Mother Nature's organization, 'El Nino', is either in custody and brought to justice or dead."
Several disappointed attendees at the event were heard to lament, "And we didn't even get to hear them play 'Free Bird'. "

Iowa too!!! He also made all of those people in Chicago die in a 80+ degree heat-wave in the 1990's. Oh no, wait a minute???

1. the gods are angry at Cary's materialistic pride;
2. the gods are celebrating the 4th and Cary doesn't appreciate it due to their fear and lack of faith.
3. sometimes for farmer or party, it rains...pure chance.
One thing for sure, terrorist acts occur daily somewhere in the world, and we are numb and insulated enough here in the US to joke about it, cause it hasn't happened in 7 years.
My friend called me to say he was giving up due ot the rain and thunder...did it go off at the fair grounds or wwere the fireworks set off?
