I have been through similar aggravation with Embarq. They tell me I can get it, place the order, and then tell me I can't. Then I have to send the modem back. There is a lot more to this story, but I don't have time to tell it. The website still says I can get DSL from Embarq. I try every few months, just to get rejected again.
