easley: community colleges should admit illegal immigrants
Published May. 8, 2008Gov. Mike Easley said Thursday the state's community colleges should stick to a policy of admitting all eligible illegal immigrants.
Wait....Lets disect for a moment his comments....
The word eligible and illegal do not belong in the same sentence. They are not compatible. Also how many of you caught the word ALIEN was replaced with IMMIGRANT? Too, should colleges stick to "A" policy or "the" policy of admiting all eligible immagrants?
An immigrant is a person that intends to take up residency and I would think in this case at least serve in the military and or pay taxes!
Being an immigrant means you have intentions of becoming legal!
He's a lawyer still. So why is he protecting ILLEGAL ALIENS!

It has been a long and painful process, no doubt. Jonas, my friend from Sweden has taken almost up to 8 years this November, but it's almost over and he'll be here! AND he did it THE LEGAL WAY that Con Amor claims doesn't exist.
So.. if it didn't exist.. then he wouldn't be able to come here would he. And all of the work he's done and I've done to help him would not have existed either and I've just been dreaming it all happened. LOL
Please, I'm starting to think, what she means is... It's not fast enough for her.
I'll agree 100% that before we can do anything, we need to fix the immigration system. It never should have taken Jonas 8 years to get through this. My other friend from Africa? Stuck on the waiting list hoping he might get in the immigration lottery. Yet I have neihbors swimming the Rio

WRONG!! It is really rather simple unless they will have a problem passing with the "Enghlish" test. Illegals look at it like, 'why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?'
So you see, there is no excuse. Here is the link to become an American citizen.

The government does have a way. It's just the "Illegals" choose not to take that route.
