<b>FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.</b> — A Fuquay-Varina woman and three dogs were killed Saturday in a crash in Harnett County.

Troopers around 11:30 a.m. responded to a crash on LaFayette School Road, north of Lillington.

Investigators said a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala was speeding, traveled off the right side of the road and lost control.

The car struck a tree, and the driver, Monica Young, 54, of Fuquay-Varina, died.

According to investigators, speed was a factor.

The driver was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not believed to be a factor.
