Four people displaced after house fire in Smithfield
Four people have been displaced, including a child, after a house fire Thursday in Johnston County.

SMITHFIELD, N.C. — Four people have been displaced, including a child, after a house fire Thursday in Johnston County.
A man was taken to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation. Three different departments in Johnston County responded to the fire. It took about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
The Red Cross was assisting the family.
Officials said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
