Police were investigating after a man was found dead Wednesday morning inside a Fayetteville home.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Police were investigating after a man was found dead Wednesday morning inside a Fayetteville home.

The man's body was found shortly after 8:45 a.m. in a home in the 300 block of Plantation Road. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.

The body will be sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death, police said.

Anyone with information about the death investigation is asked to call Detective L. Donegain of the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-489-3925 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
