Fayetteville pedestrian struck and killed, investigation underway on Gillespie Street
A person is dead after being struck by multiple vehicles, including an 18-wheeler truck, in Fayetteville on Friday night.

Witnesses say the pedestrian fell over into the road and was hit by three different vehicles.
It happened on Gillespie St. near Snow Hill Rd. around 11 p.m.
A heavy police presence was on the scene, and an investigation was being conducted overnight.
WRAL News is working to learn the identity of the person who was killed.
