Electrical fire leaves 11 people without home in Fayetteville

The fire happened around 10:48 a.m. at a house on Stoneykirk Drive.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — An electrical fire in Fayetteville left 11 people without a home Tuesday morning.

The fire happened around 10:48 a.m. at a house on Stoneykirk Drive.

When fire crews arrived on scene, they saw light smoke coming from the side of the house near the power meter.

It was determined to be an electrical fire that extended into the wall and attic of the structure.

The fire has been extinguished, and the power has been disconnected from the house.
