East Garner Magnet Middle School to dismiss at 10 a.m. due to water issues

East Garner Magnet Middle is dismissing early Friday at 10 a.m. because the school building is without water due to an accident, the school said.

School buses will provide transportation home for students who ride by bus, and parents will be able to pick up their students using the normal carpool process. The school said staff will stay with students at school until arrangements have been made for everyone to get home safely.

Students will be given lunch prior to dismissal.

All after-school activities are canceled Friday, the school said.
