Dunn man faces felony charges for kicking, stomping dog

A man in Harnett County, was arrested on Thursday for animal cruelty after allegedly kicking and stomping on a dog.

DUNN, N.C. — A man in Harnett County was arrested on Thursday for animal cruelty after allegedly kicking and stomping on a dog.

Police responded to a call of animal abuse at a residence in Dunn and found Enoch Broadnax, 28.

According to warrants, Broadnax kicked and stomped a dog in the head and face, causing bruising, bleeding, and trauma.

Broadnax was arrested and charged with felony cruelty to animals.

Police seized six dogs, and a veterinarian treated the injured dog, which is recovering.

Broadnax received a $10,000 bond and appeared in court on Friday.
