Driver found bleeding in roadway, Hoke County man charged with assault
A man was arrested after a driver was found bleeding in the middle of Fayetteville Road.
Posted — UpdatedOn Wednesday afternoon deputies with the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6400 block of Fayetteville Road, where they found a truck in the median of the roadway with the driver bleeding.
Deputies applied pressure to the wound, and the driver was transported to a hospital.
Investigators arrested Toboris Buie and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Buie was being held in the Hoke County detention center on a $100,000 secured bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
