Dreamville Festival sets attendance record in its fourth year
Dreamville Festival hosted more than 104,000 guests at Dix Park over the weekend, setting a new record for the park, festival organizers announced Tuesday.
Posted — UpdatedAn estimated 52,000 people attended each day of Dreamville Festival, with fans from all 50 states and representing more than 20 countries.
As with previous year's, Cole closed out the festival Sunday night with a performance in front of a replica of Fayetteville's iconic Market House.
"The world wants to see blood," Cole said. "But going at it like that just doesn't sit right with me. It's messing with my inner peace."
He then expressed respect for Kendrick and played a song he says keeps him grounded and humble, 'Love Yourz'."
In addition to Cole, this year's Dreamville Festival headliners included Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent and SZA.
Sunday was not without issues at the festival, with Minaj hitting the stage late and rapper Rema cutting his set short due to sound problems.
