Deputies: Washington County murder suspect on the run, could be heading to the Triangle

A possible murder suspect fled Washington County Sunday morning and could be on the run in the Triangle.

According to Washington County Deputies, a call was received in the Pea Ridge area of Washington County Sunday just after midnight, coming from a man at a residence in the area.

Deputies discovered the man, who was dead at the scene, in the home with multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies issued a warrant for Raven A. Williams, 30, for first-degree murder.

Williams, who resides in Edenton, was last seen driving a white 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, with the license plate number KCW-5656.

Deputies believe she fled to the Raleigh-Durham area, and the investigation is ongoing with more charges pending.

Washington County Deputies are asking people not to approach Williams if she is spotted, as she is considered armed and dangerous at this time, and to call local authorities.
