<b>CLAYTON, N.C.</b> — A concrete truck overturned Thursday after its tire blew out on U.S. Highway 70 in Clayton.

Sky 5 flew over the scene near Ranch Road before 8:30 a.m., where you could see the truck on the side of the highway.

Cement truck crashes, overturns on US 70 in Clayton

One of two lanes was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.

A trooper at the scene told WRAL News the truck blew a tire. The driver fought to control the truck, but it overturned.

The driver was transported to WakeMed with injuries, according to the State Highway Patrol.

The extent of the driver's injuries was unknown.
