CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three adult family members died and a child was injured Saturday in a shooting at a Charlotte home, and officers believe the incident to be a domestic dispute.

Officials responded to a home located in the 2200 block of Kilborne Drive in the Eastway subdivision around 9 a.m. after a 911 call alerted them to an assault with a deadly weapon.

An investigation led officials to believe that Antioco Andrade Chacon, 37, shot and killed his mother, Asuncion Chacon-Perez, 61, and his wife, Marina Bravo Aguilar, 37.

Officials said Chacon, who was found dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, also shot his 12-year-old daughter. The child was transported to the Carolinas Medical Center with critical injuries. Chacon-Perez and Aguilar were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 704-432-TIPS.
