Charlotte Hornets rookie Brandon Miller was named in a wrongful death lawsuit.

The two other men named in the lawsuit are former Alabama player Darius Miles and Michael Davis, who are facing capital murder charges in the Jan. 15 shooting death of Jamea Harris.

Harris was 23.

Investigators said Miller was at the scene and had the murder weapon in his car. However, Miller was not charged with a crime.

Harris' family said they filed the lawsuit hoping to get answers.

The Hornets have not commented on the lawsuit. The team selected Miller with the second overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft.
