Bus crash sends at least 8 students to hospital in Charlotte, officials say
Eight West Mecklenburg High School students were taken to the hospital for evaluation after a bus crash in west Charlotte Tuesday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said.

Bus C629 was involved in a crash around 7:30 a.m. Medic initially said there were nine patients related to the crash, with all nine suffering minor injuries. Details on what led up to the crash haven't been released at this time.
It happened near the intersection of Tuckaseegee Road and Calton Lane.
