Lizzo (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell St., Raleigh) - See this singer at Red Hat Amphitheater on Friday night.
Outlaw Music Festival (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - Willie Nelson and Family, Bonnie Raitt, Alison Krauss, Lukas Nelson and Promise Of The Real will headline the festival in Raleigh on Sunday.
Kacey Musgraves (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - See this Grammy award winning country singer at Booth Amphitheatre Saturday night.
Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Tour 2019 (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - See this country star at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Friday.

Charlie Wilson (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - See this R&B powerhouse at DPAC on Friday night.

Food and Fun

SparkCon (Various locations, Downtown Raleigh) - More than 200 interactive events encompass this festival in downtown Raleigh this weekend. Events are divided into 14 categories (music, art, fashion, dance, etc.). Events run Friday through Sunday at various venues in the Warehouse District.
Triangle Hops for Hope (Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park at North Hills, 4011 Cardinal at North Hills St., Raleigh) - On Saturday, this event pairs 26 corporate teams from around the Triangle with 24 local breweries to create an original beer. There will be three bands on stage, food trucks, a vendor village and an exciting flyover by the Bandit Flight Team. All proceeds from the event benefit Children's Flight of Hope
City of Oaks Pirate Fest and Movie Screening (Dix Park, 101 Blair Drive, Raleigh) - Learn about the history of pirates and enjoy pirate-themed activities at Dix Park on Saturday. That evening stick around for a free screening of "Pirates of the Caribbean."
8th Annual Durham Oktoberfest (Motorco Music Hall, 723 Rigsbee Ave., Durham) - Motorco hosts this event on Saturday afternoon featuring live music from Little German Band and beer from the Duck Rabbit Brewery in Farmville.
Taste of the NC State Fair (The Streets at Southpoint, 6910 Fayetteville Street, Durham) - Get ready for the N.C. State Fair with this event this weekend. Get a free taste of some popular fair food and grab pre-sale tickets on Saturday in Durham and on Sunday in Raleigh.

NC Sugar Rush (City Market, 214 E Martin St, Raleigh) - Enjoy this all-dessert food truck rodeo on Sunday at City Market in downtown Raleigh.
Party with the Pugs (NC State Fairgrounds - Holshouser Building, 1025 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh) - This event features a vendors, contests, raffles, food carts and the second annual Running of the Pugs. It all happens Sunday at the State Fairgrounds.
East Meets West (Park West Village, 1508 Village Market Place, Morrisville) - This annual festival in Morrisville features small plates from local restaurants, live performances and a bounce house. The fun runs from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Taiwan YES Moon Festival 2019 (Ritter Park, 301 Lochmere Drive West, Cary) - This free celebration at Ritter Park features delicious, authentic Taiwanese foods, games, music and dance, cultural discussions and more.
Party in Peru (Transfer Co. Food Hall, 500 E. Davie St., Raleigh) - This event, planned Saturday at Transfer Co. Food Hall's outdoor patio, will raise money for Peru's first and only Public Health Center. There will be live music, food and a raffle.

Comedy

Mark Curry (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main Street, Cary) - Mark Curry is an actor, comedian, and host, best known for playing 'Mark Cooper' in the hit ABC sitcom, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper.
Dave Landau (Goodnight's Comedy Club/The Grille at Goodnight's, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - See the "Last Comic Standing" finalist at Goodnight's Comedy Club Thursday and Friday.
Tom Segura (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Known for his Netflix specials "Completely Normal" and "Mostly Stories," Segura has also made televisions appearances that include Conan, Workaholics, Happy Endings. See him Saturday night at DPAC.
