73-year-old woman dies after crash on Ten Ten Road in Cary
A woman has died from her injuries after a crash at the intersection of Ten Ten Road and Plumtree Way Thursday afternoon in Cary.

Janice Sanders-Portier, 73, was driving a white Toyota Avalon when she pulled out in front of a white Ford F-150 pickup at the intersection of Ten Ten Road and Plumtree Way, officials said.
Firefighters had to extract Portier from her car due to the crash's impact.
She was transported to a hospital, where she later died.
The driver of the other vehicle, Jared Ian Gray, 38, was not injured. No charges will be filed.
Emergency crews closed the road for several hours as part of the investigation.
