RALEIGH, N.C.Peppa Pig's Adventure (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Come join Peppa on an exciting camping trip in the woods with George and her school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. This one-hour live musical experience is on stage at DPAC on May 14.
1,2,3 Puppetry's "The Time We Have" (Southern Village Green, Market Street, Chapel Hill) - Enjoy this performance from 1,2,3 Puppetry on Saturday and Sunday at the Southern Village Green.
Spring Family Fun Fest (Flowers Plantation, 4879 NC-42, Clayton) - Family Fun Fest will include games, inflatables, concessions, face painting, a DJ and giant family games on May 14 at 4879 Hwy 42 E, behind the Percy Flowers Store in Clayton.
Greek Festival (St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 8306 NC Highway 751 , Durham, NC 27713, Durham) - Experience the flavors, sounds, and traditions of Greece during this event on May 14-15 at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Durham. This is a scaled down celebration from previous years. The event will feature the most popular festival food and pastry offerings available for take-out or to enjoy in dining tents, surrounded by Greek music.
The Block Party (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - This event will feature food trucks, retailers and dessert vendors who have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. Expect live music, community dance groups, great food and more.
Spring Fest (Downtown Zebulon, North Arendell Avenue, Zebulon) - Kick off the spring season in downtown Zebulon at Spring Fest from 4 to 9 p.m. There will be live performances and art.
Localista Summer Bazaar (Moore Square, 226 E Martin Street, Raleigh) - Check out more than 35 local vendors and artisans featuring clothing, jewelry, ethnic wares, spices, teas, artwork and more during this event in Moore Square on May 14 tom 3 to 7 p.m. There will be music from Cosmic Horizon and Mysti Mayhem. Food trucks Curry in a Hurry and Hotchix hotcakes and chicken and Funky Munkey Sweets 'n Treats will be serving.
Cary Dog Days and Pet Expo (Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, Cary) - Cary Dog Days is back with a new name! This event will be held Saturday, May 14, at Bond Park Spillway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be vendors, food trucks, pet contests and live demonstrations.
Try Two Roosters' new guest flavors - The Raleigh ice cream shop has six new flavors inspired by local children's authors!
Pick some flowers - Check out one of these options for picking your own flowers for mom this weekend!
And finally go pick some strawberries at one of these farms!
